Pasting links

I have a 150 slide master presentation that requires
frequent updating. I use this master to create several
subset presentations. Each of these subsets use some, but
not all, of the slides in the master. I need a way to
link slides from the master to each of the subsets so that
when I update the master, each subset updates. Right now,
I have to recreate each of the subsets every time the
master presentation changes. This is very time consuming.

Have you considered using Custom Shows instead? A Custom Show is a defined
set of slides within a large presentation. You can have multiple Custom
Shows and they can be defined as totally unique slides, or they can contain
some or all of the same slides.

You could then have a link on your first slide of your master presentation
to "today's custom show" and the link could be changed by you to suit your
needs of the day. This way, only one version of the slides exists. Update
a slide and it is updated in each of the "Custom Shows."
