Pasting multiple items/notes

If I have a list of items on my clipboard, say a column from an Access table,
a set of Excel cells, or whatever...

....How can I paste things into OneNote such that they appear as _separate
notes_?

Different, new notes, not all clumped into a single new note?

This is so obvious I'm just dense for not knowing the answer. Thank you
deeply.

I do not have an exact picture of what you mean by separate notes. But if
you try pasting something from Excel, a little clipboard pops up on the lower
right-hand of what was pasted. if you click on this, does choosing "keep
text only" give you what you want?
