I'm using PowerPoint 2003. When pasting graphs (as pictures, not embedded)
from Excel to Powerpoint, the Greek letters (Symbol font) in the axis titles
either disappear or show up as some other symbol I don't want. When I copy
the graph and paste it into Powerpoint it shows up okay, but when I click on
the paste options button to change it from an embedded graph to a picture of
the graph, characters in the symbol font change to the wrong symbols. I also
tried copying the graph as a picture in Excel (shift/edit/copy picture)
before pasting it, but that gave the same result. It also happens when
copying symbols that are just in a cell in Excel, not in a graph.
I think this is a Powerpoint problem rather than an Excel problem, because
the same graphs paste fine into Word. In fact, the only way I can get them to
show up properly in Powerpoint is by pasting as a picture from Excel into
Word, then from Word to Powerpoint.
Thanks for any help,
Amy
