Pasting tables into word.

I am currently compiling a word file of tables I've created in SPSS. I
export each table to a word file, then past in the tables to the big finished
file. I'm struggling with the pasting options. I have to paste special, but
I can't get a table that is longer than a page to continue onto the next
page. It is very frustrating. Any suggestions that I am not considering?

What happens if you use Excel as an intermediary? I've had luck pasting from
SPSS (version 12) into Excel.
