Patch could not be opened

Hi,

Based on article no. 295823, it states the problem could
be resolved by running Windows Installer Update tool.
However, if the version is already above ver 2, what could
we do to resolve the problem if it is still occurring?

hullo there

visit knowledge base article 290301 which will ask u to
download a file for cleaning the registry of faulty
entries related to office XP...there is a diffrent file
for older operating systems and nt...use the nt file for
xp as well..The Windows Installer cleanup file solves the
problem
