Patch for x-fctn flowchart (article #289815)

I am experiencing the problem outlined in Microsoft
Knowledgebase article #289815. Problem is they say you
have to contact MSoft to get the patch, but I don't think
I should have to pay $99 to ask for a bug fix. Does
anyone know where I can download the patch?
