Hi,

is there a way (fairly simple?) to make changes in a front end database. I have a system that have aprox 25 users which have a front end each. From time to time i make changes and rather than going from user to user and replace the front end manually i wonder if can automaticly update them via a patch or something?

See my article on "Versioning" at http://accdevel.tripod.com.

Or, you can download MVP Tony Toews' automatic front-end updater from
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/autofe.htm.

Or, there's Danny Lesandrini's solution for automated front-end updating
from http://www.databasejournal.com/features/msaccess/article.php/3286111.

One of these approaches may suit your needs. Certainly, they all show that
synchronizing versions in multiple users' systems is not as great a problem
as it may originally seem.

FMS also makes "Surgical Strike" which supposedly allows you to "patch" your
front end. It doesn't work with secured frontends, I believe, and it's
pricey. I prefer Larry's suggestions, but some prefer the FMS route.
