The company I work for has about 400 end users.
Each user has a copy of Office 2k3 that was installed through an
administrative installation point. Basically we went from machine to
machine to do the installs.
After the SP1 for Office 2k3 was released, we patched the
administrative install and then we once again went from machine to
machine to do the installs.
Now that SP2 for Office 2k3 has been released, i would like to go down
a different path for upgrading our machines. We do use WSUS but from
what I understand, WSUS cannot be used to patch clients that have
Office installed from an administrative point.
What is the easiest and most efficient way to handle this? Group
Policy? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
