patching sasser worm and Word crashes

I would like just to inquiry if other people had the same experience
of mine. I got Sasser worm in the pc (win 2KSp2 running). I patched
the OS with the update Win2000- kb835732-x86 and with KB841720.
Everything seems OK on the virus front, but the files I was working
during the "infection" are now crashing Word Xp, every time I am
browsing their pages (just one table in the file and few comments).

The update of the OS was done not in safe mode. I just wander if the
crashes of Word have something to do with the updated, or with the way
I updated the OS, and if there is a solution to stop these crashes.

You may have a corrupted document or a corrupted template. That may be a
result of the worm or the update, but it could just as easily be a
coincidence, completely unconnected with either.
