Path syntax

Hung up Have a spredsheet c:\parade\parade.xls 2000 need to path sheets
Mail E&D. These sheets are created from entry on data sheet. Want to write
the data on Mail E&D to text files for mail merge to speed up merge. Path to
Mail E&D has me lost.

How do I write the path to get to the sheets maile or maild these sheets are
