This is not so much a question, but is a rant about startlingly poor formatting in HTML replies in Entourage.

In Preferences, I selected "Reply to message in the format in which they were received" HTML messages are highly corrupted, unless I make them an attachment. So what about that thing of "Reply in format received"?

The Office suite is a very mature product. Why in the world can't a sophisticated company like MS fix this simple item, which is fundamental to effective use of an email client.

Thanks Roger; i'll send FB to MS as you suggest. I frequently see replies here from MS MVPs, so am hoping this gets back to MS via this forum as well.

Guys,
I'm new to the iMac after living in the MS world my whole life but thought I'd give it a try. Very frustrating...
Does anyone know of a fix for receiving an html format and forwarding it in the same format? If not, I'll have to go back to a MS machine or run in MS mode because I need this for business. Any suggesions?

best you can do with entourage at this time is 'forward as attachment'
(it's a command under the window).

this will retain the original message in its full format while allowing
you to add some introductory text in the enclosing email.

that should read "it's a command under the 'Message' menu"...
