Paths-- is there an option now?

I noticed with Snow Leopard there is now an option in finder to see the path
of where the file came for

I would love to see this in Word or Excel files. Is this now possible?

If I understand what you're looking for you need only Control/Right-Click
the file name in the file window's title bar... But this is nothing new in
Snow Leopard. If that isn't what you mean you'll have to be a lot clearer
about what "option in finder" you're referring to.

Bob,
I know that trick. But in Leopard , finder, view, show path bar -- puts the
path right on the folder without having to click anything, it's right there
all the time. Anyway to get this with files?

You can display the file name and path within a word document using
Insert > Field > FileName and adding the \p field switch

In Excel you can use the INFO worksheet function to display the file path.

Is this what you are searching for?
