Pausing a file search

Is it possible to stop a search and then continue it at a
later time from where it stopped?

I've been searching for a file containing specific text
on a very large network drive and it's taken a couple of
hours so far. As I need to leave the office soon, it
would be nice to be able to continue the search on
another day without having to start over.
