I caught it the other day. It was very interesting & fun watching and
listening on how they went about developing the software from their ideas (&
other people’s ideas). Which it also broadened my thoughts on using ON too.
Thanks for all your time/input guys.

Chris,

Just FYI. This is not the first time that your links take you to an
unavailable page.

Works fine here. I'll bet the web-based newsgroup interface you're
using is breaking the URL. You need to use everything from "http" through
and including "aspx" to get to the page. If you have no specific
requirement (like a work environment) to access Microsoft's newsgroups
through the slower web pages, I'd suggest simply using Outlook Express or
your favorite news reader program for much better access.

You can set up a news account with msnews.microsoft.com as the server.
There is no sign-in, password or charge. Anyone around the world can use it
for ALL Microsoft's newsgroups. After setting up the news server (msnews),
you'll be able to get a quick download on the newsgroup list, do a Search by
topic - in this case OneNote - and subscribe to any you wish. There are a
lot of additional features available by using a news reader, including being
able to color code and track your own posts, follow threads of interest,
view with Hide Read Messages on (meaning you don't need to go back through
all the messages to find where you were) and actually manage those items
you're following.

Actually...there appears to be a blank space at the end of your link that
turns into a %20 as the last chatrachter in the link

The only blue underlined part visible in OE6 newsreader for me is from the
"h" in http to the "x" in aspx.

i.e. there is no redundant space character at the end after "aspx" on my
screen.

Clicking the link as provided takes me directly to the correct page.
