Payroll - current & year-to-date runing totals

I only have A/P and G/L, no payroll module...so I have
been trying to create spreadsheets.
Are you able to help me with formulas to create in Excel a
payroll pay stub showing current and a running year-to-
date.
And, how to have multiple sheets in a workbook share this
information ?
