PC comments don't display in PPT 2004

I received a powerpoint XP presentation where comments had been inserted
on many of the slides. Those comments don't show up at all, not even an
icon, in the PPT 2004 slide view. And switch "Comments" on and off in the
View menu makes no difference.

Any suggestions?

That's a known issue. If you'd like to see action taken, be sure to request
this feature. Your request here should be logged. Alternatively, you can
send feedback using the web form. In PowerPoint X or 2004, go to Help >

It might be worth asking the XP user to run the macro here:
