PC crashes when printing from Visio 2007 generated webpage

I have generated Organization charts using Visio 2007 and saved them as
webpages. When I click "Print" from IE 7 browser, it crashes my PC (XP OS
). Has anyone else experience this and know of a solution to this?

In these days I also have same problem, in my case visio closes with error
when I start IE7. So, I decided not to open IE7 when I am on Visio2007.

Are you sure that the thing that crashes is OS? Maybe just IE shows
some message with red cross?
If OS crashes, then, IMHO, you have some troubles with your printer's
driver.
I'd suggest you contacting driver's vendor for updated driver in this
case.

If actually the crash is a software problem (error message) then you
might find this info helpful
(about Visio 2007 and IE7):

I have already used the workaround suggested in the blog you referenced for
another issue with the vml display for Visio 2007 with IE7. So that did not
take care of my new problem.
I get the blue screen with physical memory dump error and I have to do a
hard reboot of my PC. Do you think it is associated with my printer driver.
(Several users with IE6 is having the same problem when they choose to
"Print" .)

Ok then..
If you could provide a sample file that would crash windows when
prined from IE7 (could you?),
Then IMHO, MS QA department should be very thankful and probably this
issue has a chance of being fixed.
Though still, I think this must be a printer driver problem...
Actually, I haven't seen blue screen on windows for years...

Kind regards, Nikolay.

You are right! When I remapped to print to different printers on the network
- it was fine.

I have the same problem when printing from Visio 2003 to an HP LaserJet
4350N. It is a printer driver issue as I can print if converting the Visio
document to a .pdf. How can I go about fixing this??? Thanks
