I have a Gateway (circa 2007) laptop that has XP on it. Its graphics
card can handle two monitors. One is the laptop's. If I run a PPT pitch,
I see the PPT file on the laptop as the PPT program, but the projector
screen shows the slide. Fine. However, if I have a DVD, I want to play
things go differently. For example, the DVD player is shown in the
laptop screen, and the other screen is empty. I have to move the player
screen over to it, so the audience can view it. This is a pain in the
neck, since it's hard to see the controls for the player.
Is this typical of these arrangements, or am I missing something about
the DVD player aspects?
