PC Excel file with forms(pop ups) not working on Excel 2008

I've created a spreadsheet in Microsoft excel 2003 for windows. When I wanted to use it on my mac in Office 2008 Excel application a CIRCULAR REFERENCE message appeared everytime I try to select an option from a pop up menu included in it. So the file can not be use.
Anybody can help me ?

Not without more detail. What forms popups? You¹ll have to explain in more
detail what he forms are supposed to do and what is happening. You may send
the workbook to me and I¹ll take a detailed look.

Bob, even an easy thing like inserting a List Box (Form Control) does not work and the excel suddenly quits.

Well, it doesn¹t for me, so I guess we have to look further for the cause.
Does it crash in a new workbook or existing one? Does it work from a new
identity?
