Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Email Client: pop

I just purchased a MAC and had the Apple store people transfer over my Outlook 2003 email to Apple Mail. Do not like Apple mail so I purchased Office 2008 with Entourage. Tried importing but it only brought the notes and deleted mails. Tried setting up new user and re-import but did not work. Apple mail does not have help file on exporting mail. Need help getting my email, contacts etc from either PC Outlook or Apple Mail to Entourage.
Thanks,
Marisa

We will need to do this manually using MBOX files. Note: Dragging an MBOX
file into Entourage changes Received Time to the time you drag the MBOX back
in. It leaves the Sent time exactly how it was - correct. Sort the messages
by Sent time, it will still sort them correctly.

Mail:
To archive a mailbox:

Select one or more mailboxes to archive.

Shift-click to select mailboxes that are next to each other in the list, or
Command-click to select mailboxes that are not next to one another.

Choose Mailbox > Archive Mailbox, or choose Archive Mailbox from the Action
pop-up menu (looks like a gear) at the bottom of the sidebar.

Choose a folder or create a new folder where you want to store the archives,
and then click Choose.

Mail archives the mailboxes as .mbox packages. If you¹ve already archived a
mailbox, Mail does not overwrite the existing file but appends a number to
the filename to create a new version of it.

Entourage:
Drag the MBOX files into the Entourage folder window.
