PC shuts down after paste in XP word.

I would like to know if anyone can reslove this issue I'm
having.

If I try to paste any type of text into Office XP Word my
PC shuts down.
Notepad and wordpad work fine.
Reinstalled the whole Office suite but that did'nt work.
SP2 is installed
