PC to MAC Powerpoint AVI will not loop

I have multiple PC powerpoint 2003 presentations with AVI movies in them. I just purchased a MAC with powerpoint 2004. I opened my presentations using powerpoint 2004 and the AVIs play, but will not loop continuously despite setting that option. If I reinsert the AVI it will then loop. I have too many presentations to reinsert all of the AVIs. Are there any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi,

Since this is an incompatibility between two specific versions of
PowerPoint, it is important to know exactly which versions are in play.

Especially on the Windows side, did PowerPoint 2003 have all of the
current updates installed before the AVI was inserted?

I installed PowerPoint 2003 in 2005 and have not updated it since.

Many bug fixes have been released since you installed Windows PowerPoint
2003, including ones which cause what you reported, which is why I
inquired about whether or not you have updated Windows PowerPoint.

On your Windows computer use Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser (no
other web browser will work for this purposer), go to
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and allow all system and application
updates to install. This problem should not happen with new
presentations you create after running the updates.
