PC to Mac - Template issue

Hoping someone can offer some insight, or at least a suggestions as to where
to go for more info.

I create all of our company's PPT templates on PC. We commonly use
extensively designed templates with multiple masters.

Some of our staff have begun using PPT for Mac 2008.

When any of the templates I've created on PC are open and saved with Mac 08
it alters all the masters!! Even if they don't even open the Master view on
the Mac, it still alters all of them. It unlocks all the slide masters from
their corresponding title masters and switches all of the title masters to a
slide master layout...

HELP!!!!

What version of PPT are you working with?

If you can at least work in PPT 2007 to create the templates, that should
help. Mac PPT 2008 and PC PPT 2007 handle masters and layouts similarly, I
believe, and that's the issue here.

PC PPT 2003 and Mac PPT 2004 users will see some oddities, but it's mostly
with the title slide, and I think it can be worked around. You'll also have
to work out how the color scheme translates, but you'll have to do that
going from 2003 to 2007 anyway, and it might actually translate better going
from 2007 to 2003.
