PC Will Reboot When Saving On Network Drive

Morris

Every time I want to save a workbook on a network drive my PC automatically
will reboot. I have no problem saving on hard drive. I have install Office XP
several times and the problem is not resolved.

If anyone can help to resolve this problem, it will greatly be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

hi,
Spontanious reboots are a sign of a bad power supply.
when did this start. how old is PC. has your network
people looked at your PC.
Althought i don't understand why it doesn't reboot saving
to the hard drive unless saving to the network takes more
power. check a spare molex connector comming off the power
supply. +12 volts on the yellow wire and +5 volts on the
red wire. black wire is ground. if anything less than
this, probably needs new powere supply.
A+ guy
