PCL XL error

After printing envelopes either individually or from a data base i get a
print out that says "PCL XL error

Warning: IllegalMediaSource"

What does this mean?

It sounds as if your printer is set up to print envelopes from a particular
tray (perhaps an envelope feeder) and this conflicts with the tray where the
envelopes actually are, OR the document specifies a feed tray different from
the one specified by the printer or in actual use. Or something. Bottom
line: make sure that the tray specified on the Paper or Paper Source tab of
Page Setup is the one from which the envelopes are actually being fed and
that this tray is assigned to (or at least allowed for) envelopes in the
printer Properties.
