for some reason when i go to print in any office program, my 'save as pdf' button in the bottom left corner is missing. it appears briefly if i press cancel.

went to the mac store and they said it was a microsoft problem and to keep my eyes peeled for an update that would fix it.

have looked around, but am unsure of which might be the right update, if there is one yet.

does anyone know how i can fix this or any other way of turning my word and excel docs into pdf's?

You have not told us what version of computer, operating system, and
Microsoft Office application, that you are using.

So no, we can't answer.

sorry. this is the first time i've posted on a forum.
obviously.

have a macbook. os x. version 10.4.11

the version of office is office X. i guess it's pretty old, so maybe there isn't a solution other than updating to the newer version.

Hi Miranda:

I am not sure what is going on there.

The latest update for Office X is here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=fea9fd8a-ea16-4b3c-
9381-18a389d5599a&displaylang=en

I don't think this is the problem, but download it and run it.

Make sure you have the latest Apple updates applied also.

Then tell us what happens. We may have a bit of a hunt to find this one --
sorry.

Cheers
