PDF Conversion of headers/page numbers

I am trying to convert a Word file into Acrobat PDF. It won't convert the
headers/page numbers to the PDF! I have tried and tried. I was on the phone
with Acrobat for 2 hours. They didn't have any problem with the conversion.
I can convert other Word files with page numbers but not this one file.
HELP!
