PDF Error

DSL-Dave

I am getting an error message (in Word 2000) about a missing PDF file. I
have checked the file allocations and see no references to Adobe or PDF.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thanks in advance,

Look under Tools > Templates & Add-ins.

If necessary uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat.

Please respond in the same thread on this newsgroup. Make sure you
include details of your application and Windows versions, and whether
or not you have included any service pack updates.

Thanks Mike,

I am planning to upgrade to ver 6.0, and I will see if that solves the
problem.

We're looking to forward to learning about the new Office integration bugs
introduced in Acrobat 6.0 :)

So far I've had minimal problems with Acrobat 6.0 in Word 2002, but you can
imagine how eagerly I'm looking forward to discovering how well it will work
with Word 2003. <g>

It appears that upgrading fixed the problem (for whatever reason.)
So far, the only downside I've noticed is that when I access a .PDF file
from the Web, it takes much longer for it to appear on the screen.

There's some great conflicts produced by installing Acrobat Reader v6 whilst
maintaining Acrobat v5 Writer! Great fun!!!

I find this, too. I've been tempted to assign Acrobat Reader as the default
program to open PDF files!
