I am trying to make a PDF of a custom size, beginning with a Word file
that has a border all round it at the edge.
I tried setting the Word document to the required size in Page Setup
(for Any Printer), with margins set to zero, and it looks fine. But when
I convert to PDF I get told that the page borders are set set outside
the printable area, and if I go ahead the bottom border (and bottom
parts of the side border) are not printed.
Is there an easy way round this in Word?
I don't have Acrobat, or the like. The best I've been able to do is to
increase the page size so that all the border is present in a PDF and
then run that PDF through an art program (I used Graphic Converter, but
others would work) where I can select the picture content and save the
result as a PDF.
That works ok, but I keep feeling there is a better way.
