pdf link opens maximized window

Hey OneNote fans,

Is there some way to stop OneNote opening maximized Acrobat Reader
windows when clicking on a link to a pdf file and get those windows
"normal" size instead? It is very annoying to resize the window back.

Thanks for any help provided,

AFAICS it's just the Adobe Reader remembering the state of the window
when closed.

On my system it works reliably;
When the last Reader window was closed when being maximized, next time
the Reader opened from ON comes up maximized.
When the window was not maximized on closing, the next time the Raeder
opened from ON comes up with the same window size it had when last
closed.
When another Reader window is open, opening a PDF from ON cerates a
window of the same size as the open one.

This is just WAD.

It doesn't work for me. If the problem was remembering, then
doubleclicking in Windows Explorer should open it maximized as well.

So far my workaround is to use AutoHotKey to write a hotkey to restore
the window.

PS. And WAD stands for ...

That's what the Reader (v. 8.1) does on all of my systems ;-)

Good idea.

WAD = working as designed.
