pdf with hyperlinks

I am trying to save a word document as a pdf (or, print to acrobat
distiller). It has a text hyperlink in it, but when I open up the pdf
file it creates, the hyperlink is not a link anymore, it is as if the
pdf file is just a flat image.
How can I make this link work (it is a link to another pdf file, by the
way)??

You must use the Convert to Adobe PDF macro on the Acrobat menu in Word,
having set the appropriate conversion options. Links aren't handled
correctly if you print directly to postscript via the Print dialog box (even
if you use the Distiller printer instance.)
