The PDFMaker toolbar does not appear in Word XP --
It does in Excel. How can I get it to activate in Word?

Try reinstalling Acrobat

Short of reinstalling Acrobat (which if you upgraded your version of Office
is the recommended method because there are different versions of the PDF
maker for different versions of Office,) there are a few things to check
before reinstalling:

1.) First, right click on your tool bars and see if PDF Maker toolbar is an
option, but just not displayed.
2.) Go to Tools -> Templates and Add Ins and see if PDF Maker is listed as
an option but unchecked. If so, check it.
3.) If none of those options exist, reinstall Acrobat.
