pdfs for custom page sizes

I'm working on a document that has a custom page size of 6.75 x 9.5 inches. When I make a pdf of the
file, it appears on a "standard" page size with the text at the top of the page, that is, there are
extra wide margins to the sides and bottom.

How do I get the pdf to play right and appear as the custom page size.

Hi Tony,

My quick test with a 6x6 custom page size printed to pdf as a square, no
problem, Word 2004 (11.2.6), OS 10.4.8). It does, however, zoom to fill
the entire window in both Preview and Word's Print Preview, which could
conceivably cause confusion.

Did you change the paper size to your custom in File | Page Setup?

Does it look right in Page Layout? Do the margins reflect the custom
page size?

What happens in print preview?

Can you try it with a different printer selected?

What OS and Word version?

Sorry, I should have been more specific.

€ OS 10.3 / Word 2004 (11.3) for Mac

€ The custom page looks fine in both Page Layout and Print Preview

€ In Page Setup, the Paper Size is set at US Letter - no custom size selection there, but it is
defined in Settings/Page Attributes/Custom Paper Size

€ I only have one printer (Lexmark E322)

On going to the Print window, the little preview shows the text on a US Letter sized paper as
mentioned.
