PDFs won't Open from Spreadsheet anymore

Hi Group

Am using an Excell Spreadsheet to store my ebook collection (various
formats), PDF, DOC, TXT, EXE etc. using the HYPERLINK function.

Worked fine for years until recently, now I can't open PDFs, it tells me "No
Program registered to open this file".

Other formats open fine.

Adobe Reader 8 is assigned to open PDFs in WE/Tools/Folder Options/File
Types

Any ideas anyone?
