Hi all, I create Word files with gray write-in boxes (Text Form
Fields). When I write these Word files to PDF, the boxes around the
items remain gray (but the gray boxes do not really show once the file
is printed). Does anyone know how to remove those gray boxes? Thanks!

I believe you'll get the effect you want if you go to Word> Preferences>
View & select the Field Shading option as Never.
