Hi,
I have written a timesheet application that uses AssignmentsSave to update
the Actual and Remaining work on a project. PWA is set to track progress
using the "Actual Work Done and Work Remaining" method.
According to the PDS documentation, setting the Remaining work to 0 should
set the task to be 100% complete - which it does except when the Actual Work
on the task is 0.
In this case the %Complete is always set to 0. I've read a few posts that
suggest various patches, however I have now installed Project/Project Server
SP2 and the problem remains.
The issue seems to be with PDS, as when I look in the MSP_WEB_ASSIGNMENTS
table it sets %Complete there to be 0 (I've manually set it to some other
value and PDS always overwrites it). This does not get corrected when the
Project Manager runs Update Project Progress.
Anybody struck this problem before?
