PDS Error 0x238

I am getting sporadic PDS errors ni the Eventlog:

Steve:

I'm doing some educated guessing here. It looks like SQL server may be
throwing a fit over some bad character data in your database manifesting as
an access issue. Have you got a project name in your database with the '~'
tilda in it? Any with characters other than alpha, numeric and the
underscore?

Gary,

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately, this is the entire message. No
specific reference to the project is made. And while you'd think the SPID
might reference it, we have 4 instances of PS2003 running, and none of the
databases have project with the numbers shown.

Any additional ideas?
