PDS Extender for Custom Fields

Hi,

I am using Project Server 2002 & Project Professional 2002.
I am trying to develop a PDS Extender to allow me to
specify custom fields (text and number). I was wondering if
there is anything special I have to take into consideration
with respect to the WEB, VIEW and CUBE components? Do I
have to edit any tables there? or do I simply play around
in the MSP tables, and Project will take care of the rest.

Hi,

Don't play around with the tables, you can corrupt projects very easily that
way. Read msdn and the Project SDK for PDS extender code and white papers

I've read through all the PDS documentation in the SDK.
Unfortunately, there is nothing in the API for 2002 to
edit custom fields (only outline codes).
