Peer to peer sharing

Do you mean in general, or during an established session?

If the former, shared sessions are not enabled by default. You would have
to explicitly start a shared session. If you're concerned about users at
your company or on your network using this feature, blocking port 2302 is a
good start.

If the latter, the "Leave Shared Session" button on the Current Shared
Session Task Pane will cancel the session.

Hi, We're looking for something like a registry key or group policy that
would grey out the task pane for sharing sessions. If you do port blocking,
the interface isn't optimal because the users would still think it's
available and then be frustrated by trying to get it to work. If port
blocking is the only solution, are there other ports that need to be blocked
as well?

Thanks,
Gretchen

Are these users over which you havve some policy-based control? Barring
a technical solution at the desktop, can you set a policy that states:
"OneNote Shared sessions are not allowed, even if it's not disabled." and
then let HR handle the violators?
