Pen Question

I use a desktop PC. When I select and use either the pen tool or the eraser
tool, it works normally. But I can't figure out how to turn either tool off
when I'm finished using it. Please advise.

Go to Tools, Drawing and Writing Tools, and select Type/Selection Tool.

In addition to what Kurt suggests, you can also just start typing. The
insertion point will still be in the same place it was before, and will
continue to insert text where it last left off.

There is a button on the toolbar that stands for typing/selection mode.
If you have OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1, you can aslo get out of the pen or
eraser mode by clicking the pen/eraser button again.
