Hi,
Few project managers recentry reported that their plans are taking too much
time to save, even some times they are getting error "[ODBC Sql server
driver] Memory allocation failure". i have checked server logs and they are
not full. when i saved a blank .mpp file it caused 90MB to me which is too
much . all was ok a week before. i don't have any idea why it is happening.
if any one know anything it would be very helpful

Hi Gray,
I am using project 2003.
Though i found cause but not solution.
It is happeing with enterprise global when manager is trying to replace a
tiny graphic image(arounf 2-3 KB) in view. image size is not large but it is
causing lot of memory in global plan.
Any advise?

Which version are you using? The ultimate goal is to force a rebuild of the
binary record to shrink thd file, but the approach is different for each
version.
