"People" type Enterprise Custom Field?

I noticed that when you create a project through PWA there is a field for
"Plan Owner" which is a drop down populated with all of the people available.

I would like to create an Enterprise Custom Field using the same values that
are in the Plan Owner field (all of the people). However, the only types I
see are: Cost, Date, Duration, Flag, Number and Text.

Ideally, it would be a "People Picker" field but I'll settle with a
drop-down with all the people for now.

To get to where I was referring to above:
On the projects page by clicking: New -> Proposal
Projects page: projects.aspx
Proposal page: _layouts/PWA/LightWeightProjects/LWPDetails.aspx?IsProposed=1

There is no people picker custom field type. What you can do is create a
lookup table with the names and create a text custom field based on the look
up table.

Thanks for the quick reply Chris.

That was what I was planning on doing. Unfortunately, then I need to sync
the lookup table with the MOSS profiles.
