People's Calendar kept disappearing

This is ridiculus. Since we upgrade our Office 2003 to 2007, three
people have lost their People's Calendars group. It was working fine
for sometime and then one morning nothing shows up. All of the
calendars in the My Calendars group is gone too except the calendar of
the exchange server account is there.

This frustrates me so much. Please help. I do not want to keep adding
peoples calendar every two to three weeks like this.

Check this out:

the xml file that holds the navigation pane customizations is corrupt.
Delete it (start outlook with the /resetnavpane switch) and try again or
make a new profile. If outlook does not close correctly changes made to the
pane will not be saved.

Just go to - start - Run... - and enter - "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office12\OUTLOOK.EXE" /resetnavpane (including the ") => check for the
version below.

This will reset your navigation pane back to default. Afterwards the problem
was resolved on my PC.

For 2003 "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\OUTLOOK.EXE"
/resetnavpane
For 2007 "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\OUTLOOK.EXE"
/resetnavpane

The reason I asked is because I found to find the xml file and backup so
in the future if anything happens again, I can just replace the file
instead of reset and then I have to do all the settings again.

Okay, I understand.

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\_______\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
(_____ = your login name).

The Application Data folder is a hidden folder. You may need to change - My
computer - Tools - Folder options... - View (tab) - Show hidden files and
folders (selection).

The file should be called Outlook.xml.
