I am using MS project standard 2003 and I have a large project that I have
been running for a while but now when I go to update a subtask percent to say
50% done the main % does not change it stays at 0% and some other main task I
have now are at 27% done and when I update % done for sub task of those it
will not change the over all % completed. What has happend and how do I fix
this?

Thanks

Hello Tim_Ver,

Is your calculation set to automatic? See Tools > Options,
Calculation tab. If that does not solve your problem, please let us
know what version (2000? 2003? 2007?) and service pack information.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

global template.

Hi Tim_Ver,

What version of Project, including Service pack are you using? Are you
using Project Server?

Hi Tim,

It sounds as though you may have a problem with the project file and
possibly with your Global template. When you go to Tools > Options, you are
seeing a message about unable to save a default view? It sounds as though
that view has been deleted. Can you leave the default view (View tab)
unchanged and change the calculation to automatic?
