Project Server 2007
We have published several project plans related to a specific activity with
past due dates. The Project managers were asked to update any completed
tasks to 100% in MS Project before publishing the plan so the Resource could
go into My Tasks and just work on more current tasks.
One of the Project Managers published a plan and updated the tasks to 100%
in MS Project several days later and republished the plan. None of the 100%
completes are visible in My Tasks - all the tasks still display as 0%
complete although the updates are visible in Project Center. If a task was
changed to 90% in MS Project and published - the 90% was visible in My Tasks.
It was only when we changed the Percent Complete to 100% and changed the
Finish Date of the task to be more recent in MS Project that the 100% showed
up in My Tasks.
I thought the problem was due to the Finish Date but I cannot recreate this
problem in test - in test if I publish a project plan then later update a
task with an older Finish Date to 100% and do not change the Finish Date -
the task does not even show on My Tasks which is expected.
What could be causing the problem in production? The Current Date parameter
is set the same in test and prod.
