percent of budge error - please help!

Hello,

I have a budget set in cell b4 for 1200. B2:b15 are
salespersons, b16 is total sales. In one column, I
have "Percent of Budget" - (=b2/$b$4) and in another
column "Percent of Total Sales" - (=b2/$b$16). The total
for the "Total Sales" = 100% but the "Budget" doesn't. I
don't understand what I am doing wrong?

Can anyone help?

Is it off by just a few cents? Excel will round on division and then when
everything is added up it will be a different answer. Look into the round
function.
