Hello,
Being new to Access, we are trying to make a field in the Report show a
calculation (defects/rejects).
This was usually calculated by the user, then typed into the database.
We would like to make this an automatic calculation.
After a few days of trying, we have got as far as to have the percentage
show up correctly in the Form (2.2%for the one instance we are working with),
but in the report, that is printed out and emailed, we still get 0% in the
box stating "% Rejected"
we click on the "properties"
Format : Percentage
Data: Control source : =[Defect Qty/Reject Qty]*100
We have gone through many iterations of scenarios and the results varied
from diffferent error types to inaccurate results.
We know that the 2.2% shown in the Form is accurate, but how do we get the
Report to show the same number?
Your help is appreciated
Thanks
