Hi
I'm a complete novice with Access so would be grateful for some help-
hopefully this is a straightforward question.
I have a single table which contains results of a questionnaire. Each record
comprises the name, address, postal code, age group and responses for each
respondent (most are simple Yes/No).
I need to produce a query/report(s) that calculate what percentage of total
respondents are in each age group(there are 5 pre-defined age groups). I also
need to determine the percentage of respondents from geographical areas,
based on the postal code field. UK postal codes generally take the form XX**
*XX (where X are letters and * are numbers), however I am only interested in
the prefix (and potentially the first number in the suffix).
If I could display all the age %s on one page (and likewise with the postal
codes) that would be great.
Hope this makes sense!
Many Thanks
