Performance issue in OWC10/11

Hi,
does anyone experience the poor performance when filtering a few members in
the filter area of the pivot table?
We are querying a cube with about 8000 records loader and maybe 10 shared
dimensions. As soon as we put a dimension in the filter area (maybe 500
members in the dim) and select few member in the filter area as well as 1 dim
in the row and 1 measure, the calculation is taking up to 5 min.
Does anyone experience the same? Is there a solution to it?

this is rather unusual. are you up to date on service packs and patches for
the components, IE and the OS?
