Period And Quotation M ark Placement

Hi,

Where is the location in word where a period before or after quotation marks
can can be chosen? Can that be ordered for before or after parentheses
also?

Preferences/Spelling and Grammar, click the Settings button under
Grammar and choose your preference from the "Punctuation required with
quotes:" dropdown.

You can't set the period before or after parens - that isn't really a
diverse "preference" issue - under every grammar reference I've checked,
periods belong inside parens for full sentences only (not like this).
(But like this.)
